I love the old lady on the upper left. She has alot of character and motion. I kind of wish you had drawn what she was pulling, but then again it's kind of fun to leave it to the imagination. Currently I picture her pulling her husband around on a leash :D Also love the dog in the bottom left. He has much personality to him.
Chris, Pretty decent, overall. You definitely can build character into your gestures. Please continue to develop this. The idea of figures pulling (or being pulled by) their dogs is a good one. Visit other parks on your days off (weather permitting) where this is going on more. Goodale is a great place to go around 5PM on the weekdays. The poses where the surroundings are integrated seem the strongest to me. Continue to be purposeful in the placement of darker and thicker lines.
