Chris, On the whole, I usually ask students to avoid using color for gesture drawings but I think you have worked loosely with the application, for the most part, and the results are pretty good. There's a liitle too much refinement around the contours - when you do this to gestures in the future, really loosen up with the color, too. It would be nice to see brushwork, as well. Try using Painter, or custom brushes in CS5 that will allow a dry brush look, or a loaded brush that loses its charge and dries out. Consider how these strokes reinforce the gesture, as well.
