my favorites are the top two. they have the most character and personality of the bunch. I really appreciate the 3/4 angled one of the woman picking up the paper. Perspective is hard and I feel like you pulled it off.
The main piece of advice I would give you is to loosen up. There are a lot of hard angles in these drawings that give your figures a certain stiffness. Try exaggerating the curves and you'll get more feelings of motion and movement.
Thanks, Bethany! Yeah, perhaps I will try to focus on loosening up a bit during today's class, try to round some of those sharp angles in the arms and legs a little...
Chris, There is a good sense of anticipation in all of these but the bottom two pages are a bit more fluid in their expression of poses. The top two are good but get a bit rigid in the spinal column. Loosen these up and try to emphasize the hip and shoulder shifts. Sometimes stylizing the figure to have skinny hips can detract from illustrating this more. Watch for this.
